Sades Snowwolf Headset | Review

Sades recently sent us the Snowwolf version of its latest gaming headset and it looks fantastic in all white with a mic colour to match.

As you can see from the website, we’ve reviewed quite a few headsets over the years, especially those which fall into a smaller budget like the Sades Snowwolf and this one is certainly up there.

Designed for PC/Laptop, mobile devices, VR and consoles, you’ll certainly not be able to complain about the versatility here. Whether you are listening to music, watching movies or playing video games, you’ll find the Sades Snowwolf both comfortable and convenient thanks to the detachable mic and left cup ear controls.

The earcups also come with fleece earmuff covers, allowing you to keep you ears warm too. What else can you ask for?

As for performance, there’s really nothing to complain about. The sound quality may not be up there with more expensive models, but if you aren’t an audiophile then you’ll likely struggle to tell the difference anyway.

Movies sound fantastic, music has a nice balanced performance and gaming sounds as immersive as you would expect. The mic also seems to perform well, with online chat being clear and static free.

As for the build quality, there is little to complain about here. The headset looks fantastic in white with the earcups and padding to match. The headset and cups are made of plastic, but seem pretty sturdy. My only concern would be the cable which attaches to your device, as it seems quite thin and likely to deteriorate over time, however with over a month of use we are yet to experience any issues with it.

As mentioned, the left earcup includes convenient controls such as a volume wheel and a mute button, but other than that the headset is pretty basic, making it the ideal type for carrying on a train or taking elsewhere on your travels.

The Sade Snowwolf is a great looking headset, which is ideal for those on a budget who are looking for something versatile which is up to all tasks.

If this is what you are looking for, then you should definitely consider the Snowwolf.
