Amazon Best Sellers – August 2017

August 2017 has come close, so it’s time to cast an eye across Amazon as a whole to see what the month’s most popular items were amongst consumers.

When it comes to gaming, Crash Bandicoot was once again the best selling title, closely followed by Horizon Zero Dawn and Mario Kart Deluxe. The Xbox One X did make its mark during the month, although fell away quite quickly due to being sold out. Other popular games include Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

When it comes to movies, Star Wars: Rogue One is still proving popular, while Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them is also making its mark too. We should also mention Disney’s Moana and Beauty and the Beast, which both continue to sell well.

When it comes to electronics, the Amazon Fire Stick is still proving very popular and rightly so. The newest version allows you to search using your voice and gives access to BBC iPlayer, Amazon Video, Netflix and more, it’s well worth the £39.99. Elsewhere in electronics, AmazonBasics Apple Certified Lightning to USB Cable is proving as popular as ever and quite right too at £5. The excellent Echo Dot is also popular, as is this pack of 12 Duracell Plus Power Type AAA Alkaline Batteries.

If reading is more your thing then Lean in 15: The Shift Plan is the most popular book, giving a combination of 15-minute meals and workouts. At number two is Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind, offering up something a little different from all the food talk, while Tom Kerridge’s Dopamine Diet: My low-carb, stay-happy way to lose weight is the third best seller.

As for other categories. Ed Sheeran: ÷ (Deluxe) Deluxe Edition is by far and away the most popular in music, followed by Human by Rag’n’Bone Man.
