2017 – The year of 4K Ultra HD Movies

With 4K TVs coming down in price, allowing everyone to jump on board, all talk seems to revolve around 4K gaming at the moment, with the PS4 Pro and the Xbox One X dominating high definition talk, however, 4K movies have been around for a while now in the shape of 4K Ultra HD Blu-Rays and it seems like this year they are only going to grow in number.

Already we have some great movies in 4K, such as Logan, Kong: Skull Island, PassengersThe Revenant, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and many more

What makes 2017 so special is the number of movies on the way which will really make use of the popularity of Ultra High Definition. Movies such as Spider-Man: Homecoming, Wonder Woman, The Mummy, Fast and Furious 8 and Alien Covenant, are sure to prove popular and that’s just a few of the many to come. Given that some of these movies also support HDR (High Dynamic Range), which make the colours feel like they are coming to life on your screen, these movies will look better than ever.

Of course, you will need a 4K Blu-Ray player in order to play these movies, with the likes of Xbox One S being a cheaper option, while those looking for a better quality player also have plenty of choices.

Whatever way you choose to watch, it seems 4K Ultra HD Movies are part of the future of home entertainment and this isn’t going to change anytime soon.
